Guild War Points
In one sentence: Points your guild earns from sieges and guild activities — used to turn on guild buffs for members.
Quick version (do this)
- Join an active guild.
- Show up to Guild Siege and other guild events (and fight for real on siege — see Guild Siege).
- Officers spend GW Points to activate Guild Buffs.
- Stay online to enjoy buffs while they are active.
What you get
| Thing | Who benefits |
|---|---|
| Guild buffs | Online guild members (when officers activate them) |
| Guild progression | Stronger guild identity / activity |
Exact point gains and decay can change by season — treat in-game guild UI as live truth.
Simple explanation
GW Points are like a guild bank of “activity score.”
Siege and guild play fill it. Buffs spend it.
Personal PvP Streak hunting buff is different — that is on your character from fighting events (PvP Streak).
Don't mess this up
Siege still needs fighting
AFK on the siege list may give the guild nothing useful and gives you no siege bounty/streak. Fight when pulled.
FAQ
