Classes

Dragon Crusade features a complete class system with unique balancing and a flexible Class Change system. This guide covers all classes from the starting Vagrant through Third Jobs.

Class Change System (DC Feature)

"Players can change their class anytime through the in-game menu. The cost scales with your level (15 Donate Coins x Level)."

Dragon Crusade allows you to change your class through Start Menu -> Character -> Class Change. The cost depends on your level, so you're never locked into a choice you're unsure about!

Starting Class

Vagrant (Level 1-14)

The starting class for all players. Vagrants are basic melee fighters with access to three skills.

First Job Classes (Level 15+)

Mercenary

"Melee fighters with the option to wield a sword or an axe."

Mercenaries excel in defense and HP compared to other starter jobs, making them ideal tanks.

"Hit hard, hit fast and never look back."

Fast dual-wielding combatants with highest DPS potential.

High stamina and HP ratings using two-handed weapons. The ultimate tank class.

Specializes in buffing and healing. The healer of the game.

Slayer (Blade → Slayer)

Ultimate dual-wielding melee class.

Templar (Knight → Templar)

Ultimate tank class for high-end content.

Mentalist (Psykeeper → Mentalist)

Advanced mental magic user.

Arcanist (Elementor → Arcanist)

Master of all elements with devastating AoE.

Seraph (Ringmaster → Seraph)

Ultimate healer with resurrection and party buffs.

Force Master (Billposter → Force Master)

Martial arts master with powerful self-buffs.

Crackshooter (Ranger → Crackshooter)

Elite ranged fighter with precise shots.

Harlequin (Jester → Harlequin)

Critical strike master with dark magic.


Dragon Crusade Class Balancing

Dragon Crusade regularly adjusts class balance for PvP and PvE:

PvE Balance

  • Elementor: +20% PvE damage
  • Psykeeper: Increased elemental weapon damage
  • Force Master: DR 40-70 set improvements

PvP Balance

  • Defense/Block mechanics per-boss adjusted
  • Magical/physical resistance balancing
  • HC cooldown of 2sec in Siege
  • PvP speedcap implementation
  • Void added as Elementor PvP skill

Choosing Your Class

For New Players

  • Knight/Templar: Easy to survive, great for learning
  • Ringmaster/Seraph: Always needed in parties
  • Elementor/Arcanist: Strong AoE for leveling

For Endgame PvE

  • Blade/Slayer: Highest single-target DPS
  • Elementor/Arcanist: Best AoE clear
  • Seraph: Essential support

For PvP

  • Templar: Tankiest class for Siege
  • Seraph: Healing support, holycross, resurrections
  • All classes: Viable with proper gear and skill
