Getting Started​

How do I download the game?​

Visit the official Dragon Crusade website and click "Download". Follow the installation instructions in our Download Guide.

What are the system requirements?​

  • OS: Windows 7 or higher
  • RAM: 4GB minimum
  • GPU: Any DirectX 9 compatible
  • Storage: 5GB free space

Is the server free to play?​

Yes! Dragon Crusade is completely free to play. Optional donations support the server.

Gameplay​

What is Dragon Rank?​

Dragon Rank is a secondary leveling system unique to Dragon Crusade. After reaching level 150, you gain Dragon Ranks (1-200) for additional power. See Dragon Rank Guide.

How do I get a Dragon Companion?​

Collect 7 Dragon Balls from dungeons and use them to summon Shenlong, who grants you a companion. See Dragon Companions.

What is the level cap?​

Character level caps at 150 (Hero level). Dragon Rank continues to 200, then Rebirth system begins.

How do I make Penya?​

Farm monsters, sell items to vendors, use offline vendors, or check our Penya Farming Guide.

Classes​

What's the best class?​

All classes are viable. Choose based on playstyle:

  • Melee DPS: Blade, Slayer
  • Ranged DPS: Ranger, Crackshooter
  • Tank: Knight, Templar
  • Support: Ringmaster, Seraph
  • Magic DPS: Elementor, Arcanist

Can I change my class?​

You can change your class through the in-game menu: Start Menu -> Character -> Class Change. The cost is 15 Donate Coins x Your Level.

Economy​

What currency is used?​

  • Penya: Main in-game currency
  • Dragon Chips: Premium currency
  • Vote Points: Free currency from voting

How do offline vendors work?​

Set up a vendor, list items, and earn Penya while offline. See Offline Vendors.

PvP​

Is there PvP?​

Yes! Dragon Crusade features:

  • Arena duels
  • Guild siege
  • Faction warfare
  • Open world PvP in certain zones

What are factions?​

Choose Dragon Lords or Shadow Hunters and battle in the Dragon Realm. See Faction System.

Technical Issues​

Game won't start?​

  1. Run as Administrator
  2. Update DirectX
  3. Check antivirus exceptions
  4. Reinstall if needed

High ping/lag?​

  1. Check internet connection
  2. Close background programs
  3. Try a VPN if far from server

Lost items/progress?​

Contact support on Discord with your character name and details.
